«Special», the name of the new album from P-27. What is «Special»? Is P-27 «Special»? Or are they special in the sense of the word, namely, belonging to a certain species? P-27 have always been among the birds of paradise in the Swiss Hip Hop. For nearly 20 years, they are always looking for new things. Their influences lie in the jazz, the Funk, the Pop music and of course in the Rap, which are also giving «Special» an idiosyncratic diversity. «Special» is an affectionate, ironic homage to the radio, to music and to life, a fast-paced roller coaster ride through the intergalactic worlds of P-27. The curtain rises for Rhine pirates, secret agents, disco wigs and rapper hearts in need of affection. Curtain up for P-27 and «Special»!

Skelt! (Vocals) & Tron (Vocals & Scratches) open up their new EP «Pumpin' Daze» with «Here We Go!» and draw a bow on their 16-year band history to its beginnings. The CD is the first release on the in-house label «TwentySeven Records».

In 1991, P-27 released with Black Tiger the first Rap track in Swiss German called «Murder by Dialect» on the CH-Rap-Sampler «Fresh Stuff 2». Due to a regular airplay the phrase «y bin e Schpräyer, und y schpräy won y will» soon became spread all over Switzerland. In 1992 P-27 released their debut album «Overdose Funk», that reached position 8 of the CH-LP-Charts in a short time.
